Strange timing
of events point to illumined elite

On 8/8/08
this year at the opening ceremonies for
the Olympics in Beijing, an all star cast
of current and retired world leaders
attended. George Bush Jr., Vladimir Putin,
Tony Blair, Gordon Brown were there to
name a few. The obvious question was, why?
What was so important about these
Olympic games?
On the
same day came news of Russia's invasion
into the Republic of Georgia. On 8/8/08,
the break-away province of South Ossetia,
an area on the northern border of the
Republic of Georgia was either attacked by
Georgia itself, or Russia, the reports
were unclear.
For many
there seemed a strange significance to the
timing of both events on 8/8/08.
There
was.
The date
marked one the most important
anniversaries in high Illumined societies
of modern times.
August 8,
2008 commemorated the founding of the
Order of the Knights Templar, officially
recognized by the Patriarch of the Kingdom
of Jerusalem, 888 years ago.
The
Knights Templar are considered the
foremost Illumined society of history.
Their secrets and power form the basis of
most Fraternal societies active in the
world today, one of the most notable is
the Skull and Bones club whose members
include several of our nations presidents,
as well our current commander and Chief.
The Templars developed the first European
banking system and the first European
currency. Consequently, they became the
richest and most powerful Order of Knights
that emerged from the Crusades. Among
their greatest "causes" was not
only the security of Jerusalem for
Christendom but also the search for lost
sacred knowledge, the treasures of the
Temple of Jerusalem and the Ark of the
Covenant. In fitting with the 888 motif,
the Sacred Order of the Knights Templar’s
had full access to the Temple Mount for
88 years after the capture of
Jerusalem by the European crusaders in
1099 AD until its fall to the Muslims in
1187 AD.
But why
would so many illumined dignitaries attend
the Olympics to celebrate this event. Was
it out of convenience that they crashed
the biggest party thrown on earth during
8/8/08 instead of celebrating on their
own?
It was
because the Olympics originally marked the
beginning of the Greek calendar epoch, a
four year span called the Olympiad. The
games honored the gods of Mt. Olympus in
order to secure prosperity and peace until
the next Olympiad. The significance that
illumined elite attached to the opening of
these years Olympic games was its
placement on the Gregorian calendar. It
begins a four year countdown to a great
event that will culminate in Jerusalem in
the year 2012.
This
symbolic focus on Jerusalem and the coming
Olympiad was also connected to the
conflict in the Republic of Georgia on
8/8/08.
Since the
5th century Georgia's national
flag has been the "five fold
cross". The same design was adopted
by the crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem and
was used by the early Knights Templar
after their official recognition at the
council of Nablus in 1120 AD.
The name
"Georgia" was taken from St.
George, the symbolic liberator of Israel
for Christendom during the crusades. St. 
George's
Day, by tradition, is celebrated on two
dates in Georgia, the 23rd of
November and the 6th of May. On
the 23rd of November 2004, the Rose
Revolution brought the end of President
Eduard Shevardnadze's Soviet backed
administration of Georgia. On May 6th
the same year, the western province of
Ajaria was reunited with the country.
The
significance of the present Georgian
conflict attains a level above human
agency in its geographical
relationship to Jerusalem and the date
8/8/08. The distance between the border
crossed by the Russians into the Georgian
province on 8/8/08 to the temple mount in
Jerusalem is 888 miles. This falls into
the category of anomalous date / distance
relationships of the "Temple
code" of Newton outlined in the book "Tempe
at the Center of Time".
888 years
ago, the greatest ruler of Georgia,
King David II, became the greatest scourge
of Islam in 1120 AD, by running the Muslim
Seljuks out of the country and unifying
the crusaders in Israel. In fact, the
Muslim's considered David, whose titles
included, "the Sword of the
Messiah" a far greater threat than
the crusaders themselves. The Georgian
King David saw himself as a spiritual
reincarnation of the Biblical David, with
a similar relationship to God and to his
people. The 18th century poet
Besarion of Georgia wrote that many
battles of the Georgian Army in David’s
time were "led by a knight on the
white horse that came down from the
Heaven".
After his
election as the current President of
Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili vowed to
follow in David IIs footsteps at his
inauguration at David II’s tomb at
Gelati Monastery on January 25, 2004.

The
ancient significance of Georgia beyond its
participation in the crusades is profound.
In the
"Works of President Edwards: notes on
the bible" 1830 we find:
"Magog
is, by the testimony of Josephus,
Eustathius, St. Jerome, Theodoret, and (as
Mr. Mede expresses it,) by the consent of
all men, placed north of Tubal, and
esteemed the father of the Scythians that
dwell in the east, and northeast, of the
Eux-ine [Black] sea. …the name of Gog
was entirely preserved in the name
Gogarene, whereby was formerly denoted a
country in those parts, as we learn both
from Strabo and Stephamis. And from hence
in time was fashioned the name
Georgia."
And in
Horatio Smiths Dictionary of the bible
1872:
"Josephus’
Antiquities of the Jews 1: 6
identifies the descendants of Tubal with
the Iberians, that is –not, as Jerome
would understand it, Spaniards, but –
the inhabitants of a tract of country
between the Caspian and black seas which
corresponds to modern Georgia."
In light
of these facts, one cannot ignore the as
yet unfulfilled prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and
39…
Son of
man, set thy face against Gog, the land of
Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and
Tubal, and prophesy against him,2 And thou
shalt come up against my people of Israel,
as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be
in the latter days, and I will bring thee
against my land, that the heathen may know
me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O
Gog, before their eyes.16 And it shall
come to pass at the same time when Gog
shall come against the land of Israel,
saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall
come up in my face.18 And I will plead
against him with pestilence and with
blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon
his bands, and upon the many people that
[are] with him, an overflowing rain, and
great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.22

And I
will send a fire on Magog, and among them
that dwell carelessly in the isles: and
they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

The
placement of this future war within the
last 7 years of history is debated. It may
be the opening conflict that rearranges
the balance of national powers. The
elimination of America and Russia as
military giants would set the stage for a
one world Government and its ruler. The
Gog Magog war might also occur in the
midst of the last seven years before the
return of the Messiah or sometime close to
the end.
What is
clear, are the numerous
"coincidences" found in symbol,
history and prophecy of the events of this
year, 8/8/08. They seem to indicate that
the conflict in Georgia will not go away
and that the final conquest of Jerusalem
by the New World Order for the Antichrist
is at hand.
America,
founded in 1776 (888+888) has taken a
significant role in this end time
scenario. To what degree its involvement
will continue is uncertain. It is a matter
of watching and waiting.
Jerusalem
truly dwells at the center of the world.
All end time prophecy is focused upon it
and the future temple that will once again
reside on the temple mount. The Gog Magog
war of Ezekiel 38, 39, the two witnesses
of Revelation 11, the setting up of the
abomination of desolation by the
Antichrist, the battle of Armageddon, all
take place against the backdrop of Israel
and its capitol city.
These
future events will lead to the crowning
achievement of time and creation,
the dwelling of the Lord on earth with
men,
…the
same Lord, Jesus whose name in Greek
equals 888.
